The Lankaran-Astara region, along the Caspian Sea, is a haven for nature lovers with its lush tea plantations, citrus groves, hot springs, and pristine beaches. In the Karabakh region, the city of Shusha stands as a symbol of Azerbaijan’s cultural heritage. The Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic offers a unique blend of history and nature with ancient mausoleums and the stunning Alinja Castle.     Have a tour to the centuries-old monuments Ejmiatsin and Zvartnots listed on UNESCO World Heritage list. Zvartnots (7-10th cc.) – a Temple of Vigil Forces.
    The Cathedral of Ejmiatsin (303) is an official residence of Armenian Catholicos.

    The world’s oldest Monastery is situated here. This is also a UNESCO World Heritage.

    Yerevan city tour –Garni-Geghard (B/L/D)

    Breakfast. City tour around Yerevan. Yerevan is one of the oldest cities in the world having also it’s testimony of birth – an inscription of the foundation of Erebuni fortress by Argishti 1st (782 BC). We start our day with visiting the Republic Square, heading to the administrative centre of Yerevan-Baghramyan Avenue via underground station. Then we continue our walking to The Cascade complex where you can admire the panorama of the city. Visit Matenadaran– Institute of ancient manuscripts. The museum houses more than 17 000 ancient manuscripts. Then you will visit the museum and memorial of Armenian Genocide on the hill Tsitsernakaberd. The extermination of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire and the surrounding regions during 1915-1923 is called the Armenian Genocide. Tour to remarkable Garni. Garni the Pagan Temple was built in the 1 Century AD. In 1679 it was destroyed by earthquake. In the 1975 the Temple was restored. Geghard Monastery (the name comes from the legendary lance that was used to pierce the body of Christ, which was kept here for centuries. Though the exact foundation of the monastery is unknown, the present complex was built in the mid – 13th century.) Afterwards will be present to the ceremony of preparation of the Armenian bread: lavash. Back to Yerevan.

    Yerevan-Sevan-Dilijan (B/L/D)

    Breakfast. Drive to Sevan. Lake Sevan is one of the world’s largest high-altitude lakes (2000 meters above the sea level). It has become a well-known vacation spot for long years. Walk to Sevanavank Monastery. From its height a beautiful view of lake Sevan will be admired. Drive to Dilijan. The city is famous for its climate and its mineral water and also mountains with its thick forests. It’s a SPA town.

    Sadakhlo border 18:00 – Tbilisi (B/L/D)

    Breakfast. City tour in Dilijan. Drive to Haghpat Monastery (X century UNESCO Heritage site) which used to be a spiritual, cultural and educational centre of the region. The monastery is one of the masterpieces of Armenian medieval architecture.
    Transfer to Armenia-Georgia- border 18:00. Meet and greet.

    Continue tour to Tbilisi. Overnight.

    Tbilisi, city tour (B/L/D)

    Breakfast at the hotel.
    Discover the capital of Georgia – Tbilisi, explore its old district with cobbled streets and traditional houses with wooden balconies, at the bank of Mtkvari river. We visit the landmarks of the city: Metekhi church and its plateau which unfolds a superb view of the old city, Narikala Fortress – the ancient symbol of the city, the district of baths (Abanotubani) known for its Sulphur hot springs.
    In the afternoon, we visit the Dry Bridge – a place that attracts visitors with its flea market. Then we will overlook the city from Mtatsminda – the holy mountain.

    Tbilisi –Mtskheta-Ananuri-Kazbegi (B/L/D)

    Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Mtskheta – an old capital of Iberia kingdom, visit Jvari (Cross) Monastery perched on a hill and overlooking the confluence of the Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers. Visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (“Life-giving column”) dated back to the 11tcentury. Shopping of Georgian national handmade souvenirs. Possibility of buying national handcrafted souvenirs.
    On the way to Kazbegi visit of Ananuri Fortress offers picturesque views over the Jinvali Reservoir. Cross the legendary Georgian Military Highway, one of the world’s most beautiful roads, through the valleys, ravines and finally over the 2300 meters Cross Pass. Arrive in Stepantsminda, Kazbegi.Visit Gergeti Trinity church situated 300 m above the village (By 4×4 Mitsubishi Delica)

    Kazbegi-Gori-Uplitstsikhe-Tbilisi (B/L/D)

    Breakfast at the hotel. Early departure for Gori – soviet city and the central part of Georgia, the hometown of J. Stalin, where you can visit the house-museum of Stalin and its armored car …
    Then we discover an abandoned rock-hewn town, Uplistsikhe (about 1h30), dug into the rocks dating back to the 2nd century, overlooking the river Mtkvari.

    Tbilisi-Baku –Gobustan-Baku (B/L/D)

    Flight from Tbilisi to Baku and transfer to the hotel

    City tour of Baku – the capital of Azerbaijan, once a small fishing port fortified the city owes its extraordinary development to oil. visit the cemetery of Martyrs located with a beautiful panorama over the bay of Baku: the palace of Chirvan Shahs (15th century), the old town, the tower of virgin (XII C), the caravanserai of Bukhara (XIV C) the mosques, the crossroad points of the traders, etc.
    Excursion to Gobustan. Gobustan geographical region is situated in East Azerbaijan and borders on the southern slope of Big Caucasus ridge in the north, Pirsaat River in the west, Harami and Mishov mountains in the south, the Caspian Sea and Absheron peninsula in the east. Gobustan – is an archaeological reserve in Azerbaijan, south of Baku, in Garadagh and Absheron regions, representing a plain located between the south- eastern slope of the Greater Caucasus Mountain Range and the Caspian Sea, and part of which is a cultural landscape of rock carvings , located in the 537 hectares.

    Absheron Peninsula-Yanar Dag

    Visit the Absheron Peninsula that extends into the Caspian Sea and strange monument surrounded by an aura of mystery: the Temple of Fire Worshippers. It is a land full of naphtha, the innumerable wisp which has given rise to the Cult of Fire. Fortified since Roman times, the peninsula has preserved several medieval fortresses and one of them is Mardakyan.

    Qala village is in the centre of the Absheron peninsula in the east of Azerbaijan, on a strategically important hill which dominated the area. The older part of Qala village was declared to be a historical ethnographic reserve in 1988 and encompassed 216 historical, archaeological and architectural monuments. The village has five mosques, the remains of a castle, three bathhouses, more than 170 houses, as well as mausoleums, vaults, storage lakes etc. Qala village is not, however, just a collection of monuments illustrating medieval architecture, but a complex simulating a town built in medieval Absheron. It is a rural metaphor for the Inner City and fortress at the centre of Baku.
    Continue to Mamedly to visit “Yanardag” (burning mountain) that burns with an eternal fire, fueled by the natural gas from the basement.

    Return back to Baku. Overnight in Baku.

    Baku-Shamekha-Gabala-Sheki (B/L/D)

    Departure to the city of Shemakha, visit the tomb of Diri Baba and Yeddi Gumbez. Shemakha was the capital of Shirvan Kingdom for several centuries. The Mausoleum of Yeddi Gumbez (the seven domes) is the burial place for the members of the royal families of the Shirvan Shahs. Visit the town of Gabala.

    Continue to Sheki. Overnight in Sheki.

    Sheki-Kish-Baku (B/L/D)

    Sheki is one of the most famous and ancient places in Azerbaijan. Situated 700m above sea level like an amphitheater surrounded by mountains and oak forests, this ancient city has long been famous as a silk center and an important stop on the Great Silk Road. There is an assumption that the name of the city dates back to the ethnonym of the Saks, who reached the territory of Azerbaijan in the 7th century BC. We will start our tour of Şeki with a visit to Khan’s 18th century summer palace with magnificent frescoes and stained-glass windows. The Şeki History Museum is famous for exhibits from different eras. Free lunch. Excursion to the village of Kish, known for its architecture. Return.
